Vino Passito Foco d’Ambra is produced with the utmost respect for tradition. The clusters of this precious meditation wine are born at a height of over 2 metres in the ancient vineyard planted with maple and ash trees (used as alive holder): it is the vineyard of the “chioppi”, which cost one man three years of work between 1943 and 1945 to plant by hand. Golden bunches of Malvasia lunga del Chianti and Trebbiano Toscano grapes wither for over 4 months. The juice that is extracted is a concentrate of sweetness that ferments and rests for over 5 years in small wooden barrels.
